Prime6 Records Inc. ("Prime6", "we", "us") is a Toronto-based, federally incorporated Canadian business. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. It is written to comply with Canada's PIPEDA and Ontario's privacy law, and aligns where applicable with Québec's Law 25, the EU's GDPR, and California's CCPA.
What we collect
- Submissions: The information you give us on /submit: name, legal name, email, phone (optional), location, streaming links, bio, PRO, rights confirmations.
- Newsletter: Email and (optional) phone when you subscribe.
- Contact forms: Name, email, topic, message body.
- Analytics: Aggregate, cookie-free traffic data via Cloudflare Web Analytics — no IP address, no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
- To respond to your submission, inquiry, or message.
- To send you release drops, tour announcements, and label news — only if you have subscribed.
- To route press, sync, and partnership requests to the right desk.
- To improve the site (aggregate, anonymous).
Who we share it with
- Resend — for delivery of transactional email. Data processing agreement in place.
- Klaviyo (if enabled) — for newsletter delivery.
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and privacy-preserving analytics.
We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@prime6records.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Retention
Submissions not signed are retained for 18 months for A&R reference, then deleted. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for 24 months.
